Midland Gun Company 20 Bore BLNE #110916

Here we have for sale a Midland Gun Company boxlock non-ejector with a wonderfully figured stock for the grade of gun. It appears to be something a little special as it has ‘Made expressly for E.A.Collier’ written on the top rib and the engraving is of a Harry Morris design and possibly even engraved by the man himself. It was proofed in 1936 and we can only assume completed in the same year and is a fairly small gun, potentially making an excellent gun for a younger person to learn with. Having said that, it would benefit from a stock extension as with 28″ barrels it is a little barrel heavy. As a non-ejector it would suit some walked up shooting, especially at such a low weight. The barrels are in fantastic condition, with absolutely spotless bores and good wall thickness that would see this gun put in many more years of shooting, something that cannot always be said of guns of this type and age. Please see below for pictures and a full specification.
